Service Description

This camp aims to engage students through outdoor and adventure activities and games that encourage teamwork, collaboration, and cooperation. This camp is perfect for those kiddos who love to run, roll, throw, be loud, and use lots of their energy! Many of these games and activities embrace the “everybody wins” philosophy. This camp is loaded with high-energy adventure and fun! Potential Games/Activities: Obstacle courses, hide-n-seek, relay races, scavenger hunts, parachute games, water-based games, capture the flag, group games, ball sports, spud, giant Jenga, slackline, tree climbing, and much more! Schedule: 8:30- Drop off, check-in, and free play 9:00- Group gathering/morning meeting 9:15- Snack and restroom breaks 9:45- AM Farm & Forest Fun games/activities 11:30- Lunch 12:00- Storytime, nature journal 12:45- PM Farm & Forest Fun games/activities 2:00- pick up Meals: Parents must pack their kiddo's snacks, lunch, and a water bottle. Meals are not provided at camp. What to Bring: All kiddos need a backpack with the following inside: lunch, snack, water bottle, hand sanitizer, sunscreen, small notebook/nature journal, colored pencils or crayons What to Wear: Children attending summer camps may dress like they are going to the playground- comfortable clothing that is not restrictive. Shoes must have backstrap and toe coverings (no flip flops or open-toe shoes). A rain jacket is needed if rain is in the forecast. We do have lots of shady spots on the farm Staff: All camps through Maverick Outdoors are led by experienced Outdoor Educators who have completed thorough training and are well-educated in providing safe and memorable youth camp experiences. Students: Please see our behavior expectations for students attending Maverick Outdoors camps. Should a child be incapable of following our behavior expectations, the child will be dismissed from camp without a refund. Should one on one care be needed, a state-certified aide can accompany the child. Unfortunately, at this time, our staff is not trained to provide one-on-one support. Payment: Payment must be made in full during registration. 80% refundable if canceled 3+ months prior to start date. 60% refundable if canceled 2-3 months prior to start date. 40% refundable if canceled 1-2 months prior to start date. 20% is refundable if canceled within 2-4 weeks of start date. No refunds if canceled within 0-14 days of start date.
